I made this cake for my little brothers 6th birthday which he really liked! I started of by making the mixture and divided it equally between 2 cake tins. Once they were cooked, I left them for a night to go cold. The next day I covered one cake with buttercream and the other with jam. Then sandwiched them both together. Then I had to cut them into the shapes of two shoes. This was quite easy as I only had to cut the edges and cut a little bit down the middle although it was a bit tricky to cover them with the regalice icing. I covered the cake in buttercream so that the icing stayed on the cake better. I then made all the little pieces for the shoes with fondant and stuck them on with a little bit of water.
